Rome Pizza - Boston

Steak and cheese sub and a side of onion rings! The sub was tasty with lots of meat. Onion rings were flavorful. Just what I hope to find when looking for a pizza place while visiting somewhere

I use to live in the south end and would frequent this restaurant the food use to be good. I stopped there recently to get a wing ding dinner and two steak and cheese subs the total was close to $45 which is ridiculous. I got home and the food was justok nothing to brag about to say the least I just wasn?t satisfied. Steak and cheese was dry and bland, wing dings were thesmallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen (I know wing dings are smaller pieces of chicken but these were ridiculously small)definitely not worth $15.

I have passed by Rome Pizza Grill on Tremont Street hundreds of times before I finally dined here in spring 2022. The gentleman behind the counter is very kind and the meatballs and pasta were delicious.

I love the greasy pizza and the french fries!! The french fries are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Amazing! But I will say, I've gone to this place my whole childhood and it's on/off depending on the owner.

We ended in this pizzeria as we couldnt find a place in any other pizzeria because of the Thanksgiving weekend crowd. And honestly it was one of the best decision we made and the best vegetarian pizza we have had in a while. All the veggies were fresh. The pizza was freshly baked and piping hot.
