Over The Charles - Boston

It's a beautiful sight, but eating is overpriced and not very good. service was in order, but I would never go back when someone who lives in boston. if they visit and have to bring them this doubler from whatever reason it is good, I would not go out of their way.

I was hesitant to eat here because of the mixed reviews, but I am glad we did and had a very nice overall experience! the prospects were breathtaking, and the igloos were so cozy and yet spacious for our group of 6. they even gave us our choice of igloo depending on whether we wanted to set up a more formal eating or make casual lounging. the food was great and the waiting staff was very nice and accommodating. the negative are that eating can not be worth drinking, it is worth (although still delicious,) and service was definitiw slower than desired, but to expect because they eat from the kitchen to the 16th floor where we were on the dach, so a small geduld goes along. simply do not come starving and take their time on their drinks. they even offered a Bluetooth speaker for the group to play music in the igloo, which would have been my favorite part! all in all it was a great night for our friends.

It’s a lovely view but the food is overpriced and not very good. Service was fine but I wouldn’t ever go back as someone who lives in Boston. If you’re visiting and you need to bring that doubletree for whatever reason it’s fine, I wouldn’t go out of your way to go.

View was great. Service was suboptimal. It took 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. There was a mixup with our drink order and our appetizer came out with our entree. Also, there was a mixup with our burger orders. My husband’s was cooked medium and mine well done even though we asked for medium and medium rare, respectively. We didn’t make a big deal about this given we were hungry and didn’t want to delay our food any longer. This rooftop bar is a nice location for drinks given the ambiance but the service needs improvement.

The staff were really sweet and friendly! they brought out dessert for my boyfriend and i’s anniversary, it was great!
