M.j. O'connor's Irish Pub - Boston

I stayed at the hotel for a convention, and this restaurant was the most convenient option for meals. Fortunately, it turned out to be quite impressive as well. I ordered takeout each time and thoroughly enjoyed their burgers. I highly recommend trying the short rib poutine, too—it features a layer of crispy fried tater tots topped with cheese and generously piled with shredded short rib meat, all finished with a rich wine demi-glace. The portion size was so generous that I couldn't finish it. The standout aspect of M.J. O'Connor's Seaport, however, was the staff. Even though they were incredibly busy, I was always greeted warmly as if they were genuinely pleased to see me. My food was prepared quickly, despite the crowds at the bar and tables.

The Guinness was poured perfectly! The food looked delicious, but I didn't have time to sample it.

I dined here on two different occasions during the 2023 ASHA convention. The food was tasty, though I felt it could use a bit more salt to suit my preference. Additionally, I suggest having two staff members manage the lines—one on each side of the restaurant—to improve efficiency, especially during large events at the BCE.

Convenient in hotel and, therefore, but pricey. Good service, good food.

Stopped here for a drink before a comedy show and I’m so glad we did, Kat the bartender was so fun to talk to, and the other bartender was super friendly as well! Will definitely be coming back :
