I had mussels and frits. the shells were in tasteful broth, frits were just ok. You do not want to suggest that this was not pleasant, only with the pricing, you wish it would be perfect.
What a great restaurant! Their menu offers lots of choices and each dish is delicious. Same is true of their cocktails. We’ve never been disappointed. Their patio is large and tented. They’ve paid attention to details with use of accent lights, heaters and even side flaps for rainy days and cold weather. If you choose to eat inside it is very comfortable. The bar is also great. Can’t say enough about this South End gem!
We elected patio seating a terrific patio for dining. We started with oysters escargots which were excellent and a cocktail. For an entree I had the Beef and my husband had the Duck. Both were very good but there was a long time between the appetizers and the entrees which tempered the appetite. But the servers were attentive I think there was a mix up with the meals. However, all in all it was a pleasant time. Would definitely recommend this place.
Fantastic patio seating that is comfortable most of the year with their heaters and awnings. Food is great and reasonably priced. Good cocktail list and well-stocked bar and wine cellar. Free parking for a good downtown restaurant to boot.
Our server was delightful and food arrived hot. Great value on Restaurant Week. Impressed that Jeff, the owner, came over to chat about our experience.
