Au Bon Pain - Boston

The food is alright but they basically never get online orders correct. The last few times I?ve ordered online the order was not ready on time, an item was missing, and they didn?t follow my order instructions.

The food and pastries are delicious, as always. The reason for 3 stars is because of an unpleasant encounter with a manager on duty one day. I went in explaining that I needed about 20 pastries for a company meaning and the woman manager gave me a whitetray. I later went up to her telling her that I couldn't fit all of them on to one tray and asked her for another. She told meshe had to charge for more trays not realizing that it would be a better choice for her to give me another one so I could fillup both of them. Then before I could order a breakfast item for myself, she proceeded to ring me up without asking me. I tookthe receipt and left but didn't want to deal with that location again, unfortunately.

I used to visit the one in the basement of what I believe was Filene's in downtown Boston over 30 years ago. Since I live in an area that doesn’t have any nearby locations, I make it a point to stop by whenever I have errands near one. I love indulging in their delicious spinach croissants, which instantly transport me back to those fond memories of going into Boston with my family as a young girl.

This restaurant offers a wonderful array of delicious food and pastries. The only downside is that the prices are quite high, likely due to its popularity and the large number of patrons it attracts.

The food here is quite good, and there is plenty of seating available. Parking can be a bit challenging, though, as it's located inside a large building. The seating area is spacious. I particularly enjoyed their soups, which are amazing, and the sandwiches are also tasty. The staff is very friendly as well. The ordering counter is in an unusual spot, and payments are made after receiving your food, but the process is quick and convenient.
