Wealth Garden Chinese Restaurant

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and always receive excellent service and delicious food. I really enjoy dining here! I have tried a variety of dishes, but my favorite is the sweet and sour fish in batter.

Wealth Garden offers delicious Cantonese cuisine and traditional Yum Cha with trolley service. The restaurant, previously known as Purple Sands and before that as New Panda Chinese Restaurant, has been a favorite spot for my family for the past 15 years. The relaxed atmosphere and lack of a time limit for Yum Cha service make Wealth Garden stand out among other restaurants in Doncaster. Located on Doncaster Road near Wetherby Road, Wealth Garden has a small private car park with limited spaces. The staff, who mostly speak Cantonese, provide friendly and prompt service. While the trolley service for dim sum can be slow at times, flagging down a waiter/waitress for orders can help speed up the process. I can't speak to the exact prices as we just order what we like during Yum Cha. On my recent visit, I enjoyed the Steamed Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun, Prawn Rice Noodle Roll, and other favorites. The portions are generous, offering good value for money. The restaurant's decor may be outdated, but the focus is on the delicious traditional Cantonese cuisine. Overall, Wealth Garden is a great choice for those looking for quality Cantonese cuisine without a time limit on their Yum Cha experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff are very friendly, the food is good and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the yum cha here and will definitely be returning!

Great quality Chinese food with steam fish fresh and a stand out, the pork ribs is also meaty and tasty, and tow miao vegetable is great and plenty. The kampong chicken is fabulous with lots of meat and tasty, one of better restaurant for tender kampong chicken. Great desserts with sago sweet dessert. Justin, manager and owner will definitely take care of you with great service and food.

I was in Doncaster for yum cha the other week, price is so so but the food were really good there were lots of variety and heaps to pick from, there were quite alot of people though so definitely need to book the next time we come.
