Camberwell Curry House - Boroondara

One of the best Indian meals we have ever had. Any of the meat we have had has been melt to the touch tender. Breads are fluffy and delicious. All meals are plentiful and generous, never skimping on more expensive ingredients. Fragrant rice.We have never eaten in, so I can’t comment on service on house.

We began with a mixed meat platter from the tandoor, featuring chicken, lamb chops, and kebabs. Everything was flavorful and tender, with mild spices. The onions cooking underneath added a nice touch to the meat. We also tried curries with saffron rice and garlic naan, all of which were plentiful. The naan was garlicky and chewy, the butter chicken was rich and sweet, and the palak paneer had creamy chunks of paneer. We also shared the Everest pepper lamb, which had some dry pieces and could have used more spice (we chose mild). Overall, it was a good meal with generous portions of tasty food at an affordable price. If you prefer a bit of heat, I'd recommend going for medium instead of mild.

Friendly staff, food well presented and tasted well. I loved the Kadai curry and Grilled mushrooms as part of the platter. Will visit again.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, offering a variety of authentic Indian dishes to choose from. The ambiance is beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly. I enjoyed a second mango lassi and my beef vindaloo was cooked perfectly. We left feeling very satisfied and full.

I went to this place this evening with my Asian flatmates and we loved the place. The food was delicious especially Lamb Tikka. Staff is polite and the service is pretty good. The girl staff from Chandigarh is quite sweet charming. :
