Bangkok Terrace - Boroondara

The best Thai restaurant in Melbourne! I absolutely loved it. The coconut rice was delicious and the roti bread was the best I've ever had. I also highly recommend the pad see ew and the fried rice. The service was fantastic, with very friendly staff. I will definitely be returning again.

I tried the curry puff sweet pastry filled with mashed veggies, which was delicious with a hint of sweet chili. The green curry had a great aroma and flavor, although it was quite spicy. The tender chicken and generous amount of veggies made it a satisfying dish. I highly recommend trying the coconut rice, as it was very aromatic and one of the best I've ever had. The pad see ew noodles were charred to perfection, giving them a great texture. The dish had tender chicken, soft noodles, and a delicious flavor. Squeezing some lemon over it added a zesty kick to the dish.

This restaurant is highly popular among locals and is always crowded! The service may have been a bit disorganized, but the delicious food more than made up for it. The added bonus of being able to bring your own drinks made the experience even better.

The flavours are generally authentic and rustic (dishes came cooked with raw whole herbs and spices). We loved the entrees we ordered; the fish cakes were deliciously bouncy, and full of herbs, and the crispy prawns great textural mouthfuls. Great way to start off the meal. The prawn tom yum was tangy, spicy and and the roast duck salad was smokey, fresh and a generous portion. We also had the Steak Laos which although was tender and good was a bit small for the price. The green curry was also on the sweet side, and I prefer a more savoury version of this. The service here is exceptional, and the staff really make you feel welcome. Will definitely be back to try out other items in the menu.

Been to this place countless times. The food never disappoint me. Love the curry and the duck salad. The staff are friendly too. The place is clean. Bathroom cleaners can be improved though.
