Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is discriminatory and should be avoided by individuals who are black or brown. They are served poorly and have their plates left uncleared due to their skin color. All of the other customers, including those who arrived after me, have been attended to except for me.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was charged $26 for an avocado toast and a small coffee. The avocado layer was thin and watery, with only a bit of feta on a small piece of toast. It was not enough avocado or filling to satisfy me. The presentation was lacking compared to my previous visits. Overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the food on this occasion.
Last Wednesday's lunch experience was underwhelming. My partner and I waited at least 45 minutes for our meal and drinks, with the beers arriving just one minute before our food. The chicken in the Caesar salad was plain and had just been placed on top without being cut or seasoned. The borek was dry and lacking in flavor. I was not impressed with the overall quality of the food and won't be in a hurry to return to this restaurant.
A group of us had lunch in the egg with another meal from the menu board. we all commented that eating served by average quality and taste more suitable for a highway street house as a caffe in a beautiful garden /nursery...settling play: the thunfischpattie was quite tasteless and a side salad is not sprinkled some salat leaves with dressing. the lasagne lacked the generousness of the specified bark filling and with a cheddar as well as cheese brittle! also salate leaves are not a beside salad. It was important that in these Covid times people were sitting on the tables, certainly not he needed 1.5 meters apart. I would imagine that a coffee (good made) and a cake would justify another review, but based on our experience I am really let ask how this caffe can attract an average TA rating of 4 stars.
I have been here a few times and there is no doubt the food is lovely enough but the prices certainly reflect that and nothing is particularly cheap. By way of service, you wait at the counter to place your order and this process is...quite slow, with the young lady taking orders having time to fold paper napkins whilst waiting for the eftpos machine etc. Service is friendly but ordinary, whilst delivery of food is to table and not particularly speedy. Today’s offering was corn fritter with smoked salmon and whilst the $12.50 price tag seemed very reasonable, it was a SINGLE fritter reheated with some salad leaves. Nice enough, but not particularly reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. I also ordered a cup of tea which came in a sweet little pot with a side serve of milk and a single sachet of sugar. Went back and ordered a piece of caramel Anzac slice (OK this one was certainly worth the money) and asked for more hot water in my teapot as I had plenty of milk left and wanted a little more tea with my slice. Unfortunately, although they were polite, they were unprepared to provide more hot water aside from the tiniest little silver jug full (less hot water than the amount of milk I was served). I didn’t request table service, carried the tea pot to them and was happy to wait to carry it back. This would be minimal work for them and a chance to make a customer happy but unfortunately the counter staff were not empowered to make this call. A shame. Also a pity as my friend and I had taken time out of our lunch to help a medically indisposed customer (who ultimately left by ambulance) whilst letting our drinks and food sit and get cool. What a chance to have a customer leave happy at minimal cost, passed up. Seems a shame in crowded market of cafes. I must say, it doesn’t especially leave me wishing for a return visit in a rush.
