Agriturismo Il Cortile

This restaurant is an aggroturismo. No it doesn't mean that there is always trouble, it means that they grow all the food and drink they serve in the restaurant so you know it is fresh. The Italian branch of my family went for Sunday lunch on a local recommendation. What a great tip off. Just as well we booked as it was very popular. When the food arrived I could see why. We went through the menu from antipasti to desert and each course was bliss. We were warned not to overdo the starters as the portion sizes were considerable. Good tip as we sent some of the starters back to make room for the rest. Can thoroughly recommend the Ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach cooked in a butter sauce. The main was veal done in a mushroom sauce. As I write this I can taste these delights and am wishing I was back there. We complimented the meal with bottles of the house red and bottles of mineral water. Overall the bill for 4 adults and two children was E135. There is a small play area for children and you were allowed to see future food (ie the animals! in the farm area. Will definitely be back. If you are ever looking for a great meal at reasonable prices look for Aggroturismo restaurants, they are all over North Italy (maybe other regions in Italy, haven't been there so can't comment.

Family atmosphere, great food! The staff is very friendly. Perfect place for lunches in company and for families, given the possibility to see near calves, goats and donkeys!

Beautiful discovery. Homemade food quality and friendly and friendly staff. Excellent appetizers and first ones. Great place for families or simply to spend a day in the green.
