Teatro Dei Medici - BORGO SAN LORENZO

I took two different people to this wonderful restaurant last week and they enjoyed the food so much they insisted we return the following day. The food and service are simply wonderful and at very reasonable prices. I am sure like many local restaurants, this restaurant has suffered in the COVID epidemic. It needs to survive and so I urge anyone in the area to sample a meal there. Yo will not be disappointed.

Restaurant Teatro dei Medici is based inside an old Medici 's family villa, the interiors are very nice with high ceiling. Restaurant just changed its owners, they modified the prices, but not the menu. Food? It 's simply perfect, rustic and based on local traditions and products.

I was so disappointed...our dinner started at 8:30 and finished at 11:40, I wouldn't have minded the delay and the unorganized staff, but it's hard to keep a 6 year old entertained for 3 hours at the table.. no, I don't believe in giving my kid a cell phone to keep occupied ok, so lets get down to the food..3mini meat balls were 9 euro... anche NO . Dessert 6.50 for for something so ill put together..bottom line over priced for the items we ordered. I know that next time there won't be a next time for us! Eating well with common sense has always been my policy..we spent 50euro a head really nothing special...hope ya'll make a better choice.

Amazing, just amazing. I took 4 friends 3 of whom had never been before and the food and service was amazing. It always is. Price wise for us Brits it is truly reasonable for this quality of food and the setting is just fantastic. Go on, you deserve to experience it.
