Osteria Vecchia Valle - BORGO PRIOLO

Fra le colline dell'oltrepò, nascosta in una piccola frazione c'è questa osteria a conduzione familiare, che vale la pena cercare: si rimane soddisfatti, per gli abbondanti antipasti, per i primi tipici della cultura culinaria locale, per i secondi interessanti, fra i quali la carne di cervo. Servizio attento e familiare ed anche veloce, almeno in un pranzo di giovedì. Discreta scelta dei vini, sia sfusi locali, ma anche preferibilmente in bottiglia. Conto modesto che fa perdonare la circostanza del menù recitato a voce.

Viaggio tanto ma dove mi trovo bene vado e ritorno sempre …..nel cuore dell’oltrepo pavese questo locale a conduzione familiare nn vi deluderà …. In estate poi pranzare sotto un bel porticato colorato da vasi di gerani fioriti …be’ a me piace un sacco.La padrona di casa mavi aiutata dallo zio Enrico preparatissimo sui vini e dalla mamma in cucina vi conquisterannoQuanto ai piatti? I am a supporter of this restaurant, visited many times since years now and always willing to try! The restaurant is run by a family and all the food is homemade by them, you can feel the love in it! The menu is typical of the area, with a lot of cold cuts, flans, pickles, risotti, pasta and meat...all worth trying, including the wonderful desserts! I broght here also some colleagues from US, Germany, Malaysia and all of them were enthusiast about the food here, probably the best italian food they ever had! 100% recommended to everybody.

We had a lovely lunch time. Nice restaurant with good wine, anti pasti, primo plate. The Local liquer is fantastic to taste.
