J2 Sushi Borehamwood

The best sushi restaurant in the heart of Borehamwood, in my opinion. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and nothing is ever too much for them. The food is delicious, the service is impeccable and I can't recommend this place highly enough. Hope to be able to come back again once lockdown#2 is over.

Love the food and the service is excellent!! May always looks after us and I think we go here because she welcomes us like long lost friends everytime we come. Can be a little pricey if you go for a la carte in the evening. We tend to opt for the buffet in the evening and a la carte for lunch (40% off, so worth going for lunch).

I ordered a two-piece salmon (sake) nigiri and was initially a bit unsure about the price. However, after trying it, I completely understood why it was priced that way. The size of the nigiri was generous, but the tenderness of the salmon was truly amazing. The quality of the salmon at this level requires skilled handling and preparation, so I believe the price is more than fair. Even when I left, I could tell that the staff were friendly people. Sushi lovers will definitely appreciate this place.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot for Japanese cuisine. The service is both quick and friendly. Their lunch offerings are excellent, and I wish I could visit more frequently. It’s a bit disheartening to see the place not very busy sometimes, as they truly deserve a larger crowd. In addition to sushi, they also serve a variety of popular Japanese dishes that are delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I've visited this restaurant several times, and each experience has been excellent. The service is always impeccable, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food is consistently of high quality and is served promptly. During lunch, they offer a 40% discount on the à la carte menu, and in the evenings during COVID, they have a 20% discount.
