Quick Stop Food Store - BORDENTOWN

I actually prefer this place over WaWa. The breakfast sandwiches are plentiful, and you have plenty of options for rolls, cheese, and egg types. They make the sandwiches fresh, and they still manage to prepare them quickly. There's also a good selection of coffees—the cinnamon roll flavor is excellent! I did take away a star because the cashier was too busy chatting on her speakerphone while ringing up customers. I found this quite rude, as I don't need to hear someone else's conversation, and the focus should be on serving customers. If the call was an emergency (which I doubt), she could have excused herself and asked someone else to help. I hope this was just a one-time issue. It's a bit of a drive for me, so I wish you would open a location in South Jersey, preferably in the Delran area!

This deli is fantastic! Despite its small exterior, it offers a wide variety of options. The sandwiches are always freshly made, and they have great deals, like a wrap that comes with a bag of chips and a drink. I highly recommend the Italian Wrap—it's absolutely delicious! The staff clearly knows how to create the best wraps and prepare all the other menu items. There's a wonderful selection of drinks, sandwiches, sides, snacks, and even some household essentials. Plus, it's conveniently located near the apartments in Bordentown, just a short walk from downtown. The other businesses in the strip mall are also well-regarded; I get my Chinese food from the place next door and have always had good experiences with the cleaners as well. Overall, this deli is a wonderful local gem in Bordentown!

I stopped by today for a sandwich, and my experience was disappointing. An older woman at the deli made my sandwich, but it had barely any meat and just one slice of cheese, all for $5.32. When I asked her if the roll was fresh, since it crumbled when she cut it in half, her response was unexpectedly hostile and defensive. The roll seemed either stale or she simply didn't know how to properly prepare a sandwich. After a heated exchange with the employee, I decided to request a refund. I also informed the owner that his employee should be more respectful to paying customers. Honestly, the only things worth getting here are lottery tickets and cigarettes.
