Rise Up'n'shine - Bordeaux

We visited with our daughter and her boyfriend and had an amazing vegan eating experience ,we each tried a different option from the menu and shared, they were all equally delicious. Will be recommending to all our friends when they visit Bordeaux. Thank you

We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant in bordeaux and found this lovely little place where you get served organic home made caribbean food which is simply beautiful and delicious. The people there are very friendly. The "Jamaican beer" aka ginger beer was super yummy as was the "muffin' dread" dish I had with peanuts, platain and many more ingredients.

I was so excited to have found a proper vegan/ veggie restaurant serving Caribbean food, and it definitely lived up to all my expectations. Me and my friend split dishes between us so we could try more, and everything we ordered was delicious and looked great.The really friendly owner/ cook explained the menu in English to us and the atmosphere here is just really nice and relaxed.Can't recommend enough, not just great for vegans and veggies, definitely a place meat eating friends can be taken too without them grumbling. Wish we had a branch in my city!

We searched this restaurant out because of previous reviews and we were not disappointed. As a vegetarian it was fantastic to go to visit somewhere in France where I could order anything off the menu - a rarity in most of Europe. My partner who is Caribbean was a bit sceptical due to being no meat options but he enjoyed it as much as I did, his only complaint being that he could of eaten another plateful! The owner was very humble and willing to help with translating into English. Beautiful food cooked by an excellent chef. Very highly recommended!

Great caribbean vegan food for a great price, English speaking friendly. Cool Caribbean décor and the food was sumptuous.
