This restaurant was not as good as I hoped My wife and I had the sashimi quality tuna and it literally had zero flavor.

Extremely fresh produceThe simple green salad had an amazing vinaigrette that was so complex but light.

This is a beautiful bistro on a very pretty street of brocantes and small shopsThe food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic food served by a genuinely happy and friendly staff. Even on a hot summer night, the outside tables are shaded and very pleasant.

We selected this restaurant based on the recommendation in the NYT article days in Bordeaux”. The food was disappointing and the service was quite bad. Even though we were one of the first tables seated for the evening we waited minutes for a waiter to make an appearance. While the pacing of the meal was fine, the wait staff was largely missing and made no attempt to see if see if we were satisfied with our main courses. While the sole my spouse had was “ok” the tuna, which I had ordered rare, arrived basically well done. Clearly both plates had been left under a heat lamp for a while before being delivered to our table. By far, the worst meal we ate in Bordeaux.
