Lovely friendly staff. The food tasted as good as it looked which was fantastic. Will be back and highly recommend this little cafe.

Another breakfast at The Yard with friends, another delicious meal had! I love my little local, the food is always good, the coffee is divine and the service is wonderful. Tried the Mediterranean Haloumi Stack this morning, it was amazing!!

I have a particular way of eating and when it comes to cafe breakfasts, the main thing I don't want is bread. Most cafes breakfast menus are full of things on toast, wraps, burgers, and The Yard is no exception. So when I try out a cafe with no clear bread free options I usually ask for their bacon and eggs offering without toast. Most of the time, I get a cold plate with two eggs, two rashers of bacon and if I'm lucky, a token tomato. I was AMAZED at the plate served to me today at The Yard, when I asked much the same of them. Not only was there plenty there, but it was thoughtfully prepared and presented. The spices on the slice of avocado were a particularly delicious addition. To top it off the coffee was lovely. Too many cafes fail this basic step. These guys know whats up, so if you have yet to try them out, give them a go!

Incredible coffee. Great muffins and brownie. Excellent food selection, and it tastes as god as it sounds! I’m a fussy ****, and I am very impressed. Polite and quick service too. I can’t fault it!

Fantastic coffee and by far the best brownies in Ipswich! The staff are always sooo lovely.
