Brown's Wharf Inn - Boothbay Harbor

The staff at the restaurant were outstanding and very welcoming. The rooms were tidy and cozy. Although the restaurant was closed due to the pandemic, they still provided a delicious breakfast with boiled eggs, fresh muffins, fruit cups, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee, and juices. The location is a 20-minute walk from the opposite side of the harbor, with three other restaurants nearby for other meals within a 5-minute walk. The rooms were spacious and offered amazing views of the harbor. We definitely plan on staying here again on our next visit.

The rooms and the views at this restaurant are fantastic. It's a bit of a walk to town, but it's only minutes away by car. Additionally, it's just a short drive from the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens, a must-visit for both adults and children.

We stayed on the third floor facing the marina, with a beautiful room at Brown's in Boothbay Harbor. This was our first time at this hotel and we were very impressed. The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent housekeeping services. The balcony was perfect for relaxing and watching the boats and sunset. The property itself was beautiful, with flowers, hanging baskets, and hummingbirds everywhere. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service at the front desk. Sadly, the restaurant is no longer open, but the continental breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. We met other guests who were repeat visitors with at least 10 visits, which speaks to the quality of the hotel. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We had the best stay of our entire trip to Maine. It was a one night stop over, 7/25, on our way to Acadia National Park. Our 2 bed room faced the harbor with chairs on the porch. It was beautiful. The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable The staff was friendly from the owner down. Diane was a life saver. We had a car issue that could have ruined our whole trip. She helped us connect with a local garage. Lucky for us, it was a quick fix and we were able to continue our trip. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and were sorry we couldn't stay more days.

The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the inner harbor. The room was just right, nice and clean and comfortable. The AC was awesome and quiet. There is a balcony for every room. My only critique is that there are no privacy screens between balconies. When our neighbors were out on theirs they could see right into our room and im sure visa versa. Unfortunately their restaurant was not open this season. They did have a very nice continental breakfast every morning starting at 7am. Freshly baked muffins, hot hard boild eggs, various cerials, yogurts, juice and delicious coffee. We loved that everything was a short walk away. There is the 1901 foot bridge just down the street, that takes you over the water to all the tourist spots, and the whale watch boats. We did a whale watch and it was exacly a 17 min walk, taking our time. So no worries about paid parking. We will be back next year. Hope the resturant will be open by then.
