Latin American - Boonton

We were visiting from out of town and sought a family-friendly restaurant known for its home-cooked meals. The food was outstanding; I enjoyed a whole snapper served with white rice and tostones (fried green plantains), while my husband had white rice, black beans, a salad, and a steak topped with onions. Everything was delicious, and I even took my leftovers back to the hotel for later. I can’t express enough how welcoming Denis, the owner, and his wife were. Denis came to our table to chat, and we even exchanged phone numbers. I highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone looking for fantastic food and friendly service. You won't regrett it!

My wife and I visited the Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ, while we were in town, hoping for some comfort food. I can honestly say this was the most delicious meal we've had during our stay. The restaurant was clean, and the owner took the time to chat with us for quite a while, which we really appreciated. I ordered the steak topped with onions, along with a salad, white rice, black beans, and maduros (sweet plantains). The portions were generous; my wife even took her leftovers back to the hotel for later. She's a very picky eater, but she enjoyed everything that was served. The staff was fantastic, and we felt completely at ease taking our time with our dinner. We will definitely return before we leave and will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

Amazing!!! Everything is made fresh to order. I requested my guacamole to be extra spicy, and it turned out perfect. I highly recommend the quesadillas, guacamole, and flan. I can't wait to come back! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

This place is amazing! Service is UNBELIEVABLE! Food is delicious and so tasty. You can also ask them to tweak some recipes to make them 100% vegan. I totally recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: You can get a vegan baleada, or rice and beans with plantains and avocado. The owners are very knowledgeable about vegan options.
