Mary's Kitchen - Boone

Mary’s is the place for a fantastic and authentic great South breakfast. The eggs are cooked for perfection. Grits are creamy and tasteful. Breakfast meat such as land ham are produced locally, the biscuits and Gravy are homemade, savory and fantastic. But the hash browns should die. Each order is rubbed separately from selected potatoes on the grid and cooked in butter to golden brown and deliciously crispy. You can find fancier seats, but not better breakfast. Not unusual, but damn good!!! Mary makes every breakfast with love, care and years experience!!!

This is a jewel! Open on Monday was Friday until 11:00. Just breakfast. If you didn't try Mary, you missed it! I always say it's hard to screw up breakfast unless your eggs are not finished or your bacon is still squeaking. Nothing happens in Mary's Kitchen. For the first time I had chocolate bread biscuits here and OMG they were divine! Regular sausage sword is not so loaded with sausage or black pepper that I love it not so spicy it has exactly the right amount of sausage in it OM eggs were cooked for perfection, such as crispy hashbrowns and crispy bacon. I don't know if cookies are scratch bites or not, but I bet they're money. Prices are too cheap! This place is occupied by 79 yr old Mary and her granddaughter, where the locals go. See them when you are in the Boone region.

Literally the best French toast I've ever had, we found this restaurant so happy before we leave the city!

This place was so sweet! I went there this morning after I woke up too late for the class and got a chocolate chip pancake, an egg and casting. The first time grits! You were good! It was really cheap, decent coffee, and the staff was friendly. I'd go back. It has a kind of classic old time, how 70s feel about it. It was great.

Amazing little breakfast place...where the locals go...the service was great, the food was great, the prices were very low...I think they should definitely charge more...our family of four enjoyed breakfast for only $27....great atmosphere, great people, great food...
