Eiscafe Da Vinci - Bonn

I was visiting Bonn for a meeting with a friend and we ended up for a beer at this place. We experienced the most dreadful service ever met! Its to awful for words. My friend is an older, respected lady that asked a staff ,who...was rude and uninterested when we ordered already, about a hotel in the neighborhood. The only thing this low social, rude person, could mumble was the amount of the bill which he ordered us to pay. He was not willing to answer my friend and told her only pay and no time for other questions. Obviously it was not busy at all. He is just someone not belonging at a place to serve customers. After that we had a big argument as they only accept cash money even during the Covid pandemic in which everybody is encouraged to pay with a card! When we tried to explain, this creature was just waving to an ATM where we should walk and get some cash. To make it even worse, when we left, what seems to be the owner, a little, tiny ,loudspeaking and rude man called me and made it clear with a loud voice that nobody touches his shop.. I would recommend everybody to stay away from this awful place

The offer I chose was Apple strudel and coffee for Euros. Even though it was already October, the weather was good enough to eat outside. Sit, enjoy the meal and "people watch

Die Kugel Eis für einen Euro ("auf die Hand") ist ein guter Preis für Bonner Innenstadtlage - die Qualität ist solide, aber auch nicht außergewöhnlich gut. Die Geschmacksauswahl ist mit Ausnahme von zwei, drei Exoten, auch eher "Standard".

Wir mussten leider lange warten bis wir bedient wurden, obwohl nicht so viel los war. Als wir gerade gehen wollten kam der Kellner dann aber auch zu uns. Das Eis war lecker, aber zB das Erdbeereis nicht so fruchtig.
