Bidrage med feedbackDuring my time in Bonn, we visited this place on a regular basis for the atmosphere, the good service and the food! Menu is simple with various dishes for every taste. From salad to pasta to meat, something for everyone. Also don't miss the Sunday...Brunch, I would say one of the best in Bonn! make a reservation to be sure to get a table, especially for brunch! Sit outside in summer. Located in the heart of the city and shopping mile.
After walking all the shopping street I was looking for a cafe near by and suddenly I noticed that I am standing in front of Bonngout. I tried apple strudel w whipped cream and it was really tasty. I will try for food next time...I am here
We enjoyed a lovely outside dinner on the first summer evening of after visiting the exposition of the Beethoven statues on the Münsterplatz. In addition to having wonderful service, drinks and food, we were treated to an impromptu piano concert from the Münsterplatz, complete...with all three movements of Beethoven's Pathetique piano sonata. This was a perfect closure to a perfect day enjoying Bonn.
We went to Bonn Gut with two friends and had breakfast at lunch time on a weekday and we were served with breakfast. That was nice and while the staff was always kind, the atmosphere of the restaurant was also welcoming. I did not find...their breakfast to be strikingly good. The taste of the food served inside the breakfast dish was average but the coffee and dessert were good.
Nice little place near the town square! Great beer list and good food, though a little pricy. We came here for a snack and ended up leaving full, so I guess it was still worth it. I don't really remember what we ordered. One of...us had a great soup and we both had a beer the size of a lighthouse. I speak a little German, but our server spoke great English. We asked her at one point if she considered it rude if Americans (or really anyone) waved her over or tried to signal her for something, and she was very honest. To paraphrase, she said no, not really, but if we're too busy we might get impatient with you. We got the idea they'd still prefer we didn't, but at the same time, my wife and I always try to NOT be those American tourists.
