Alter Schwede - Bonn

I had been wanting to visit this café because of its noticeable aesthetic. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the coffee tasted excellent. The addition of a vegan option was a bit pricey (€1 extra), but it was definitely worth every cent. I will definitely be returning in the future!

The avocado sandwich with agitated tofu was incredibly tasty! There are also some cakes to choose from, but they are not labeled, so you will need to ask. I chose the poppy seed cake and it was excellent.

The cafe is very cozy and accommodating for vegans. The avocado toast with tofu was delicious and generously portioned. The coffee was fantastic, especially the vegan options made with Oatly barista. Despite being located near busy roads, it was not a disturbance while dining inside.

This café, located in a historic Pavilion near the Bonn Museum Mile/Rheinaue, is wonderful. The coffee is top-notch, with the Latte Macchiato with oat milk being a standout. The vegan bread with avocado, hummus, and mushrooms is delicious, and don't miss out on the vegan banana bread. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
