Lake House Grill - Bonita Springs

Being honest. The fish and chips were good. However, the tarter sauce needs more pickle, dill, and lemon juice. The fish tacos were great. However, a cojita cheese would have been great on it instead of cheddar.

We stayed at the hotel and used the bar each day during our stay. The food is actually really good. The staff are friendly and they have a half price happy hour 3-5 each day for food and $1 off on drinks.

We went here because of the 4.3 Google star reviews and because we thought there was live music. What we encountered was another story. We were seated near the bar and there were 2 smokers puffing away forming a cloud around us. Our waiter was courteous and friendly. We ordered and food came out promptly. Husband's burger was dry and overdone and my fish tacos were soggy and smothered in chopped onions so I could not taste the fish. We received the bill and we were charged for the fries that came with the burger even though we did not order them. We were charged for the sour cream and guacamole that came with the fish tacos. We will not be back.

Great atmosphere. Service was exactly right. My food was decent. My guests loved their's. Thought it was a tad pricey but it is a hotel restaurant. Would definitely go back but atmosphere is best in daylight.
