I wish I could give a good review of this place but they need to improve their customer service at this location! I ordered a power smoothie and to start the guy at the cash register didn't know the menu or how to count money?we waited for a long time and they kept throwing away the contents of the blender and a girl kept scooping out something from the blender... After a good 20 minutes I finally ask and she said something happened with the blade of the blender... I immediately ask for my money back! I wondered when was she was going to say something or if she was just going to serve us a smoothies with pieces of who knows what... I really like their location in the San Diego area, I'll stick to that one!
I used to go to Fresheria with my family at least 6 times a year, probably more. I loved their sandwiches and acai bowls. A few month's ago I received a half filled $10 acai bowl from the Palomar location. I just stopped ordering from them and used the Bonito store for my last 3 orders. But now, they did it again!!! Arghhh...$10 acai bowl with barely a scoop of acai and a 1/2 full container. Awful!! ? They have lost at once loyal customer 400/yr easy)
I tried something new at this restaurant. The spinach wrap with chicken was delicious, and the corn in a cup was a good alternative for those who can't bite into a cob. I initially thought it was a classic dish, but the addition of lemon, mayo, hot sauce, and cheese was a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend trying it. The service was timely and helpful, and I enjoyed dining inside with hot drinks. Overall, my two visits have been great dining experiences.
I was disappointed with the food and customer service at this restaurant. I ordered one of their specialties, the red chilaquiles, and they looked and tasted old, as if they were leftover from the day before. The water was good though. The lack of customer service was even more disappointing. The girl at the cash register was rude, spent more time on her phone than taking my order, and seemed like she didn't want to be there.
