Bidrage med feedbackA charming spot for a quick meal, the staff are friendly and prompt. The food was delicious, and I will definitely return for more on my next visit to Sydney.
I first tried Sushi Train in Newtown, and this time I visited the one in Bondi Junction. I absolutely love their sushi, even though it's more expensive than some other places. You can really notice the difference in the quality of the food, especially the grilled scallops—they just melt in my mouth! The only downside to Sushi Train is that I have to keep an eye on the prices while I'm eating.
Typically, there's a long line out the door, but since we arrived for an early dinner, it wasn't very busy, and we were in and out in just 30 minutes! Unfortunately, the scallops and soft shell hand rolls didn’t impress, nor did the eel or tamago sushi. My husband was eager to try the wagyu grade 9 sushi, but it turned out to be tough and disappointing, especially considering the price. Another drawback was that some of the hot dishes, like the karaage chicken and soft shell crab, were served cold. On a brighter note, my son enjoyed his plain udon, and the bar stools with backs were much safer for toddlers. The staff was friendly, and we might return in the future, sticking to the dishes we know and love.
Not the best sushi i 've tried but i really like the 'train system ', the sushis are rotating all the time so you can choose whatever you want just by looking at them. The attention was very fast and really nice!
Very friendly and helpful staff, I do like the ambience. It was homely and also kids friendly.<br/ <br/ I had grilled salmon, scallop, tuna, engawa, king fish and tempura.<br/ All taste good and I'd love to come back.<br/ <br/ It's located near westfield in Bondi Junction.
