Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is a charming and intimate spot. The atmosphere is very homey with most dishes made to order, so it's not ideal for those in a rush. The food is of high quality but may take a bit of time to prepare. The service is decent. The chowder is a must-try, but all the other items on the menu are also excellent. It's recommended to make a reservation on busy days as the restaurant is quite small.
We visited the restaurant for breakfast and sat on the outdoor deck. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the fact that it was a sunny day was an added bonus! The service was excellent, and the food was hot and delicious. We will definitely return when we are in town again!
All of the staff wore masks. We ate breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The dining area is small, so I suggest making a reservation. They offer many authentic Newfoundland dishes. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was not very busy.
Recently came here at our jubilee dinner. the staff was very friendly and helpful. this shop is a cute little place that offers many things on their menu. we had a chicken stable. asked for alfredo pasta instead of the spagetti type. Unfortunately, we didn't forget that, and the chicken didn't seem too fresh and tasted like it was heated in a microwave. everything else was great! we will be more than likely back when we return for a visit.
A must dine when in Bonavista, their Newfie sampler (fish cake, baked beans, touton, bologna and cod), fresh Atlantic salmon, cups of frozen raspberry tea and home made peanut butter cheesecake. Reservations also a must as this is a very busy and popular place!
