The Goose Gander - Bolton

The food and service at this restaurant are consistently exceptional every time I visit. It has become my dad's favorite spot to dine out, which is quite an accomplishment. We have visited multiple times with both family and friends, and every time our plates are completely empty because the food is so delicious.

On a recent visit with my partner, we opted to sit in the bar area but found it a bit too noisy with men and a few barking dogs. We requested to be moved to the restaurant and although it took some time to be seated, we still had plenty of time to enjoy a three-course meal before the show started.

Eating was absolutely amazing! I will go back 100%, I have heard of 4/5 people how big it is and I was not disappointed, the only criticism I would have is where we were sitting right next to the bar in the pub side instead of the restaurant page, so it was hard to have a talk at points, we had to raise our voices and ruin the experience easily, but still I will go back!

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is very elegant. I had the most incredible potato bun I've ever tried with the lamb. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the flavors!

Had a delicious meal on Sunday 23rd. I chose the pheasant for starter and my partner chose the black pudding with posing egg. super tasty with excellent presentation. for the main I chose fish cake, my partner chose the slowly cooked shoulder of the lamb! wow a delicious eating round. we waited for a little bit then ordered gloomy. for feb on the way out. highly recommended. clean, modern and the personal is well-trained and polite. best experience for this year:
