Steaks On A Plane - Bolton

Not been here in a while since the kids have all grown up, the food has gone down hill burnt steak and recooked fries, I requested that I would like fresh fries only to be told u get what Ur given!!! it's not school dinners am paying £12 a head absolute pisstake..

We decided to visit after watching one of Danny's reviews from Rate my Takeaway. When you arrive you board the plane via a set of stairs, inside there are seats and tables arranged as booths. We ordered the Original and the Philly along with some Jalapeno bites. The food is made to order and is fresh and hot. We were impressed with the quality and will deffo be going back again.

As there are two entrances to the plane, one takeaway and one to sit-in, I went to the takeaway end of the plane up-the stairs as I was hoping to get take-out, the window was closed but I can see some men behind it, I gently knocked on the window to get someone 's attention, a man opened the window with a very angry face, I asked politely if they were open, he shouted at me in his broken English There are three men here, what do you think if we are open or not?! , I said your window is closed that 's why I asked, he then shouted by saying What do you want?! I walked away as its the rudest anyone has spoken to me at a place of eating. The man then pursued me as I was walking away down the stairs, he saw me get in my car, he stood outside watching me with a cigarette in his hand trying to intimidate me. Its the worst service ever and a very nasty man, I would never eat from here or from anyone who prepares food as this horrible man.

Brilliant! Staff lovely and friendly. Shredded Steak and chips were gorgeous, too much to finish! 7 of us ate here, and 7 of us would go back again! Amazing price for the amount and quality of the food you receive. All in takeout polystyrene boxes. Lovely photo opportunity in cockpit etc too for the novelty factor. Only drawback is no toilets, but then you eat and go! Defo recommend to go.

My daughter is mad about aeroplanes, so we arranged to drive here (2hr journey) to visit on her birthday. I telephoned ahead to say we were coming and checked in on the way there. When we arrived it was open, but you wouldn't really think so. The staff couldn't give a hoot and were both rude and unhelpful. The only burger we wanted (a gourmet burger) wasn't available. We sat in silence, there was no atmosphere, the staff sat on the floor on their phones, we thought they had left at one point. The only good thing was the tables were clean and that is why it gets 2 stars. The fries were okay, the thin burgers tasted disgusting. I actually felt sick after we left. Was a novelty one off, would never return and recommend they buck their ideas up.
