Antica Osteria Romagnola - BOLOGNA

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening, even though it was a quiet night, service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed everything from beginning to end: appetizers were fresh and wonderful, we ordered 3 pasta dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade taste and quality, the main course was suckling pig for 3; the meat fell off the bone and the skin was crispy…everything was extremely well executed. We had a wonderful meal and definitely a highlight of our Bologna trip.

The best meals we had during our holiday was in this restaurant. Everything from the appetisers to the dessert was very delicious and flavourful. Also, the service was second to none thank you Leo for the menu recommendation and making our dinner even more enjoyable! If you are visiting Bologna, book yourself a table at this restaurant, you won't regret it.

In a very quiet atmosphere with a careful owner you can enjoy the climate and the Bolognese food...I strongly recommend

We visited bologna from the usa and took a pasta class of maria grazia azzaroni, which recommended us this restaurant. when she was born in bologna, and she said that this was one of her favorite restaurants, we felt we had to try. it was absolutely perfect! our waiter (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) was absolutely wonderful. he translated a large part of the menu for us because our Italian was not so good. he was funny and very animated when it was about describing their dishes. it made it very difficult to decide what we wanted to try because he made everything sound so good! what we finally decided was absolutely tasty, as I certainly were all the other dishes. the restaurant was beautiful. it was the quintessential Italian trattoria, beautiful ordered, large service. it was the perfect end of our time in bologna and we cannot wait to come back.

The stuff were very kind and professional. The food was excellent and even the dishes were beautiful. We like the atmosphere in the restaurant.
