That's Right - Bolingbrook

Stopped in for dinner recently. Greeted with friendly smile and patience. Ordered and found a table and waited. The atmosphere was comforting with an old school restaurant vibe. Just reminded you of that neighborhood family restaurant that everybody loved. They had old Motown hits playing in the background. One found themselves, singing and tapping their feet with anticipation of a good meal. After a not long of a wait my catfish dinner arrived. This was anticipated when ordering catfish. And let me tell you piping hot golden fried fluffy seasoned to perfection fish is what you want! From the first bite to the last was like yummy yum yum . Needless to say my meal was fantastic. Every bit of home style cooking and taste that one can remember. The cabbage and candied yams were beyond delicious also. This is such amazing spot that includes a variety of options. Everyday has a special of the day. Which is nice to have options. Btw did I mention, they had banana pudding, lemon cake, and peach cobbler. However I did not get to try, my friend did and loved it. This is why I will be returning soon. Like real soon. This was my first visit to new location.

I'll be honest I have been debating for a while whether I should give this place a try or not. And now I definitely regret having waited this long! My main goal was to try the oxtail and rice, but ordered a few more single pieces to get a broader sample of their food! It did not disappoint! Everything was delicious! The catfish was perfectly fried, flavorful and light. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and fingers licking! I had never had fried pork chops in my life, well call me sold! Oxtail and rice was everything I was hoping for, so decadent... Yum! Greens were amazing, and creamed spinach were perfect. Spaghetti was good. Mac and cheese ok but I had better. Corn muffins were good. Really no complaints. On a day you want need soul food, go for it! You will not regret it.

Lived in middle Georgia for years. Took me right back. Collards are hard to do without making them soggy. Great job. Takes a little longer to get if you're eating in, but that's because they make it right then. Totally worth it.

Came a little past closing and everyone was friendly and patient. Got the baked chicken, dark meat boiled cabbage and sweet potatoes. Chicken was very tasty and tender, cabbage was cooked perfectly and sweet potatoes were nicely sweet. Came with corn bread that was a bit tasteless. Restaurant was pristine for later in the evening. Will definitely be back.

Their food reminds me of celebrating at daddy's house! Birthdays , graduations, new babies -you name it... soul food or food for the soul/ it's the same. Absolutely delicious! Loved the catfish, greens, cornbread, chicken, spaghetti!!!! Wow... what a meal! Can't wait to order again- they do deliver!
