Bidrage med feedbackThis place was filthy ! Food was old cold disgusting. Manager says because it was lunch time. They serve food from the days before. I was in disbelief they would actually tell u that with no shame. Pay 6 dollar more for fresh dinner food. 2hr limit. Was first last time here! Was in complete shock! No wonder if was completely empty. Poor service poor hygiene poor quality food. Disappointing
I read a lot of the low star reviews and they are mostly correct. I would not say the food is disgusting, or not edible, but it is not far off. The sushi rice is so gummy as to make it hard to swallow. All of the food is mostly warm and they do bring out new tubs often, so my guess is their food starts off not warm enough. I would also not suggest the hibachi as all of the meat looked... Not cold enough. Overall the price is WAY too high for the quality. There are much better Asian restaurants in the area for the same price.
We decided to stop at Osaka 1st time here! The gentleman at the front counter was so nice, smiled alot we felt welcomed immediately. Once inside...so so nice, w/plenty of seating along as well as some separate rooms for larger groups. It wasn't overly crowded for a Thursday, We enjoyed the buffet so very very much so many delicious choices! The Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Yung Green Beans...my favorites, so yummy!! Though its always fun to eat at the restaurants, we noticed there was a steady flow of people making selections at the buffet leaving w/their take out containers that is awesome!!! I know we'll definitely go back soon thank you all for taking care of us!!
I have been to my fair share of Buffets and I have come from North Carolina to visit family in Illinois I know that not all buffets are perfect but to be served salty food from the grill and to see almost inedible limes is disappointing. Not to mention that there weren't many options and to be charged $91 for 4 people is not worth it. I'd much rather purchase a family meal from Panda Express. Also the host who charges seems to not enjoy his job and you can tell from his expressions.
This place never had any atmosphere but it was one of the favorite places for me and two of my old friends to pig out and catch up with each other before the pandemic. It was a solid 4 stars for food back then, but is barely a two star now. One third of the steamer tables now have no food for dinner. No cold shrimp and no crawdads for dinner. Instead of a selection of 8 ice cream tubs before the pandemic, the selection is now 4 tubs and two of those tubs are almost empty. An adult costs $20 for dinner and a $1 tip jar is at the hibachi grill. The plate remover also brings you a tip plate with a fortune cookie. This is now a $22 meal. Half the food selection for twice the before pandemic cost.
