Water Bear - Boise

Well crafted top shelf cocktails best in Boise that we know of after trying a bunch of different places. However, not too much flexibility around substitution or modifications around their menu for example, if you ask for the sugar syrup to be reduced, they would say no and believe their drink is “well balanced”. Also, bar seat very uncomfortable should give some back support and better cushion.

Wanted to love this place. Horrible service. In the span of 3 hours we were only able to order 2 drinks, only ever got the first one though due to them never ringing in the 2nd one. After 45 minutes of waiting and no one checking on us we repeatedly tried flagging down a server to no avail. Walked up to the bar and was ignored. Finally got the owners attention and expressed our disappointment in the service and had to still pay an 18% tip for the worst service I’ve ever received from a business.

This is a wonderful pre/post dinner spot for a drink. Creative cocktails the deviled eggs are amazing. The owners are super sweet and their staff makes the experience so enjoyable

Wonderful cocktails, cool bartenders, and a coyote with glasses, maybe? I had a great time. Only regret is not being in town long enough to try more cocktails or annoy everyone with my vinyl choice. I am now a Stay At Home Astronaut.

Greate place to hangout, staff is super friendly also they have grate food.
