Bidrage med feedbackI have eaten here twice now and without a doubt, this is THE best pizza I've ever had. Hubby and I are visiting a friend here in Boise and he told us about this place. We loved it so much we had to come back before leaving for home. We had the Caprese salad. Everything is super fresh. The quality of the cheese is outstanding. We ordered the Margharita pizza. Wow!! The crust is perfect, the sauce very tasty, and everything blends beautifully. I will most definitely come back. Tony and his wife are great people. A really cool place with outstanding pizza.
The most relaxed, authentic, overall excellent pizzeria at least in the PNW if not the USA. Just great IMO.
The combination of San Marzano tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese was pure magic. We could have easily devoured four pizzas in one sitting! The way he achieves a chewy, crispy crust with such savory texture is nothing short of miraculous. Chef Tony and his staff treated us with the utmost respect, making us feel right at home. This place is definitely a keeper, and after 16 years in the business, it's easy to see why. And don’t forget to save room for the homemade ricotta cream cheesecake!
I ordered the number 1, which I believe is the marinara, and I added extra sauce, olives, sautéed mushrooms, and fresh arugula. They also provided parmesan, crushed red pepper, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil for the table. I highly recommend drizzling the balsamic and olive oil on your pizza—I've never seen that offered at any other pizzeria, and it was a game changer! The balsamic was fantastic; it tasted just like the real Italian stuff, so if you’ve been to Italy, you’ll know exactly what I mean! The shop is small and has lovely opera music playing, which adds to the atmosphere. I highly, highly recommend this place! Thank you, Tony!
Fantastic local Neapolitan pizza in downtown! Boise has quite a few pizza places, many of which are just average, but Tony's is definitely at the top of my list. The dough has an incredible chew, and the toppings are top-notch, featuring sausage, garlic, and spinach. My Caprese salad was refreshing, with the basil and buffalo mozzarella really shining alongside fresh pepper and nutty extra virgin olive oil. It’s easy to overlook since it’s quite small, but it’s located right next to The Egyptian Theater and across from City Hall. The owners are extremely friendly, so be sure to stop by and enjoy!
