The Gyro Shack - Boise

The food is always fresh and delicious whether it be the lunch rush or just before close. The hummus and pita are my go-to comfort foods and the gyros make my soul happy. You can taste the quality with every element. I'll pay the .50 for the extra sauce on the side.

The falafel is amazing! Love the tzaziki. The green spicy sauce is addicting, so watch out- you'll be craving it again and again. My instincts say that the bad reviews recently are being left by a disgruntled ex- employee. Just my 2 cents.

Very good and quick service. Best and least greasy fries I think I’ve ever had. The Gyro was well made and not messy. Perfect amount and quality of ingredients.

Unfortunately I got severe food poisoning after eating the super. It's all I ate yesterday so there is nothing else it could have been. Very dissatisfied. Never again.Food: 1/5

No, no, and no! 15 minutes in the drive through with only two cars in front of me. Of course, there is a second lane on the other side. I don't know why they have two lanes when they don't have the capacity to serve that many customers timely (with walk up business too...)Order taker got my order wrong, despite seemingly clear communication. I said TWO kids meals and when it came to drinks, said BOTH with Dr. Pepper. I didn't catch that the total with the adult meal was a little low and might have alerted me to the mistake. My oversight there.Got our food finally. Yep, missing one of the kids meals. Also, missing the fries for the kids meal? And the chicken strips are literally plain chicken strips, no breading, not anything like what is traditionally called a chicken strip.About 30 minutes after eating my Gyro, which was decent except for being quite salty, I was sick as a dog. I felt awful.I threw the chicken strips away. I didn't want my kids to meet the same fate.
