Pastry Perfection - Boise

Not impressed! Booked cakes and deserts paid for our wedding and the delivery for 2pm. They arrived at 9:00 and told me they couldn't deliver at 2 that I had to get it. When I arrived to get nothing was decorated, they showed me the cake and the freezing fell off the side. She tried to send me to the cake that fell apart and then seemed frustrated when I asked her to fix it. The only reason I gave them no star is because the taste was decent. Not recommended.

I'm so impressed by Pastry Perfection! You always had the absolutely best sugar cookies... But I'll never order a cake from somewhere else. I ordered her grasshopper cake for my sister's birthday a while back and it was nice and delicious. Recently I ordered a custom cake that made a surprise from my husband the day he did his vasectomy than something to help him feel better... And they did SO AWESOME! I acknowledge that the subject is unpleasant, but I am so excited that I must review and share. He was so happy and it still tastes delicious a week later:

I called on the phone and asked for a German chocolate cake woman was very nice on the phone. You drove 15 miles to get it. when I left the place was empty, but a few people went up. A lady helped me to box the cake, and another gentleman went to me, went up to me and asked if he could help. I said I'm going to try this donut, and he said is someone who helps you, I said yes, I'm going to box ladies a cake. He said you could just wait for her. Then he stood back and just stood there, which was kind of embarrassing. After about a minute other people went in and he went and helped them, but I just thought that was somehow awkward hallo to reach, in case of hand the pastry anyway, the pretty pastry is released. It was really terrible tasting. The German chocolate cake was good, no great experience. They were here forever and are like in the valley I was only not there for probably a decade, and it was not worth the trip.

It is a good pastry, but much too expensive. 3 star average. Responsible for a visit

My husband bought me a birthday cake from them for my 70th and I have to say it was absolutely the worst birthday cake I've ever had in my whole life. It was dry and the icing was just a sickening sweet powdered sugar. Disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves for charging $70 for garbage. I was embarrassed to serve it at my party. It was supposed to be cream cheese frosting that you would have on red velvet cake Not powdered sugar water. They didn't even write what they were supposed to write on the cake. We will never buy from them again.
