This place is far too loud for my liking. You can’t even hear someone speaking right next to you. Karaoke happens almost every night, which adds to the noise. The only positive aspect is the vintage video games they offer.

Lizard Lounge in Bohemia, NY, is the ultimate spot for karaoke lovers. Jay, the multi-talented host, handles everything from bartending to running the karaoke with unmatched attentiveness. The atmosphere is always lively, with a supportive crowd and a fantastic song selection catering to all tastes. Jay’s dedication ensures every night is memorable, whether you’re singing or just enjoying the show. With great game consoles to play ans you wish and a lively vibe, Lizard Lounge guarantees a good time. Don’t miss out on this local gem! Oh and you gotta grab a pizza, it always hits the spot.

I’ve gone to Lizard Lounge a few times to do karaoke with some friends, but I will not be returning due to the terrible attitude of the staff. The man behind the bar had been nasty from the moment we walked in. The first thing he said to us was we needed to buy two drinks or we couldn’t stay. This was never a previous policy, but still we stayed and wanted to enjoy the night. We signed up for karaoke, there wasn’t many people in the bar. After 45 mins of waiting and watching the same people go up to perform their songs, that same man behind the bar took over for the DJ. He proceeded to say that he “threw out all the songs he didn’t like”. I approached him and asked when I was on the list because I had been waiting awhile, and he very aggressively says “well did you buy anything” and continued to be rude so we ended up leaving right after that. To the guy behind the bar, if you hate your job just quit. There’s no reason to disrespect your customers. An attitude like that would drive anyone away. This is probably why the place was empty on a Friday night. Will not be returning.

Bartender is great, DJ is great, karaoke is a lot of fun here, highly recommend for a fun night out with friends and loved ones.
