Hace años empezó a circular el rumor de que sus productos estaban hechos con carne de lombriz (rumor que todavía persiste), pero la verdad es que, ya sea de vaca o de lombriz, estaban muy ricas. El Corral nació en 1983 con la apertura de su primer restaurante en el centro de Bogotá en la categoría de autoservicio, ahora sus establecimientos se dividen entre los clásicos y los gourmet, con hamburguesas más elaboradas.
