Old Inn - Bodmin

That's a nice pub. we arrived on Friday night about twenty minutes before closing the kitchen. the pub is obviously the center of the village life, as it was very full for her quiznacht. we had a delicious meal and then tried to book for 20 o'clock on Saturday night. despite complete booking in the main restaurant (62 people)! they managed to press us. they advised us in advance that it might wait a bit for the food, but kept us fully updated over progressed. when the meal arrived, they wait well for it. the portions are extremely generous and the quality of the food is excellent. will come back in any case!

This place is amazing. it is picturesque and so welcoming. the personal cannot do enough to help and the food....wow definately visit this place if they are ever in cornwall. xxx

Visited here today for a Sunday career and was not disappointed! the pub itself is beautiful and full character, it is obvious that it has a good local after and friendly atmosphere. the carvery is one of the best shares I've seen. as vegetarian it is sometimes hard to eat on Sunday without having the obligatory vegetarian blossom, but this pub offers good for vegetarian, I could enjoy the carvery with a nut roast and the portion sizes are enormous! my man who has a big appetit was very impressed and my 3 year old was also well looked around. I can see why this place is well recommended. it is very busy so that booking is advisable, but we will certainly return again! great thanks to the staff and management for a beautiful meal!

First I tried the carvery and I must say that I was very impressed. I love bratspeich and their have passed the test, delicious! the veg was hot on serving and remained hot on the plate, large selection of meats, all were very delicate and tasty. will I recommend? I'd be right
