La Veneziana Ristorante Taverna

I would only advise this restaurant to very patient and extremely kind people.Extreme long waiting time. The pizza 4 formaggi came as a pizza 4 stagione, the wine was nit the wine we ordered. The salmon we tried to order was No longer available, but in the mixed grill dishes there was salmon ?? But besides the salmon there was hardly another piece of eatable fish. Only the pasta was ok. One of our gasts ordered a Tiramisu, something that not go wrong in an Italian restaurant, except here. It was a kind of mixture between a milk shake, a panna cotta and a tiramisu with an awful taste. We invited the waiter to test this disgusting dessert. At first he refused, but at the end he took a spoon an tried. He could not run fast enough to the kitchen to rinse his mouth. At the end we did not have t pay for the wine, nor for the Tiramisu. But when you are in Bochum and are hungry. Please do not go the Venziana, unless you have plenty of time, a lot of humor an are a very forgiving person.

Excellent food - from appetizers, to salads to entrees- and a wonderful wine selection. Very friendly staff.

I went to bochum for a few days while I was working there,and went to eat at the italian restaurant called, Taverna la Veneziana: first of all the staff was very friendly!! Food was excellent: there's something for everybodys taste! One of the best restaurants I've been to! The food is presented in a beautiful way!! Over all I can recommend Taverna la Veneziana! If u go to bochum: u should definately go there and have a tasty italian meal:)

I went with a group of friends to Bochum and we found this restaurant after a long walk,we were starving!! The very nice waiteress brought us a mix of very tasty sauces we spread on bread while we waited for our pasta and pizza. The pasta was very good and well cooked, I really liked Lacrima pasta, I have to try to do it at home by myself as soon as possibile,it was delicious! I don't think I'll come back to Bochum in the future but if it happens I'll definitely go there :)The only expensive thing was WATER, 5€ for 70cl, too much! But overall lovely food and a so kind waiteress!!!

I came to have lunch at la taverna Veneziana. I was instatly greeted with a smiling and warmly welcoming waitress.I asked what they had to offer for lunch and she recommended a pasta with zucchini and bacon. It was delicious and well priced. I can full heartedly recommend this restaurant, its truly an italian restaurant with italian staff and authentic italian food.
