Aosora Sushi Restaurant - Bochum

Went here for a meal for one and was really well fed. Not too many other customers in and had a bot of a shock at the end of the meal when I was told they did not accept card payments (but the maître d was willing to let me run out to cash machine).If I remember correctly there were no English language menus available either. So I just played safe and went for the big sashimi platter and it was very good.

The Sushi is of really good quality and each Euro worth. In the restaurant there is a really friendly and quiet atmosphere. Try it out and enjoy!

The food was second to none I have ever tried. Friendly service, a reasonable price and a welcoming atmosphere combined to make a lovely evening.

The center of Bochum has been missing a good quality non-all-you-can-eat Japanese food place. The food here is high-quality and there is a wide variety of dishes, many of which you won't find other local Japanese places. The service is very friendly and helpful. I have come here a few times and had a few different things but I have not had anything that wasn't at least very good. The appetizers are as well as the main dishes excellent and they are not just the typical fried things you get in a lot of Japanese places in Germany.

I have just had a light dinner travelling on business. This was open on a Sunday night. I eat a lot of Japanese food when travelling and this was really good. I had an authentic yakitori with perfect crispy skin, some gyoza and fished with the house speciality roll with scallop and slightly spiced tuna. The roll was sensational. The service was excellent anf the price very reasonable. I cannot recommend Aosora too highly.
