Bidrage med feedbackI am unable to provide an honest review of the restaurant as I did not have the opportunity to dine there. Despite making a reservation a week in advance without any issues, when my party arrived 15 minutes early on Saturday, we found the restaurant completely closed - lights off, doors locked, and no answer on the phone. It was a very strange situation and left me confused as to what could have happened. As a result, we ended up going to another restaurant where we had a fantastic time.
I had made a reservation and it was confirmed. I arrived on time but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. OpenTable should be aware of this before allowing reservations to be made.
I did not have a dining experience to share because when I arrived at the restaurant, I found a closed sign on the door. There was no indication whether this was a temporary or permanent closure. I tried to salvage our evening by making another reservation through the Open Table app, but I was unable to do so since the time overlapped with my existing reservation and I could not modify or cancel it. I had to search for other restaurants with availability and call them instead. It was a very disappointing experience. I wonder how Open Table monitors their restaurants to ensure their hours and availability.
We left before we dined. From the moment we arrived staff was obnoxious. We arrived 12 minutes earlier than 5pm and were told by the hostess to wait outside. No one offered us a menu or was welcoming in any way. Once inside I asked for help with the menu, as I have Celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. The waiter was rude and surly and non informative. The staff was noisy and yelling back and forth to each other...no one seemed trained at restaurant etiquette. This was supposedly a pricey French restaurant to be enjoyed by our party of four and we decided to leave...we then proceeded to enjoy great service and food at Villa Rosano. We will never return to this place calling itself a restaurant.
La Ferme was a standout for NYE even though they were short staffed they did an incredible job with top level service with a smile and outstanding food. I loved that they stuck to their regular menu and didn't have some expensive and bad prix fix. Hats off to La Ferme for a great evening.
