Bidrage med feedbackMost of the dishes were decent, with a few being quite tasty. However, the Angry Shrimp dumplings were disappointing, with the dough being thick and undercooked—not the shrimp itself, but the dumpling wrapper, which was really unappetizing. While some items were good, nothing really stood out as great. Additionally, the portion sizes did not justify the prices. I understand this is Mizner Park, but the prices felt exorbitant given the serving sizes. By the end of our meal, we all found ourselves asking, "Where should we eat next?" So, if you're looking to lighten your wallet or embrace your inner yuppie, Kapow might be the place for you. However, there are plenty of wonderful Asian and Asian fusion restaurants in the Boca-Delray area worth checking out.
There's a walk-up bar in the alley where you can grab a drink while you wait, which is a nice touch! We opted to share several dishes, and I think that’s the best way to go if you want to try a little bit of everything. I suggest ordering a few items from the Snacks and Small Plates section and a few from the Not Just Noodles section to ensure you're well-fed. Start with a few and you can always order more! Here’s what I sampled: - **Kimchi Nachos (Special):** Delicious! - **Brussels Sprouts ($14):** Tasty, but is it really worth $14? - **Tuna Tartare with Crispy Rice ($17):** Good, but not exceptional. - **Crispy Spicy Beef Wontons ($12):** Not worth it. - **BBQ Duck Ginger Fried Rice ($19):** Super delicious! - **Five Vegetable Fried Rice ($12):** Good. - **Brisket Pad See Ew ($23):** Amazing! I loved this unique twist on the classic dish. I also tried the Blueberry Lavender Mojito ($12). It was pretty, but I might explore their other drink options before ordering that one again. In summary, Kapow is fantastic for large groups, with delicious food and a wide drink selection. Just be prepared for it to be a bit pricey, but overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
I had a fantastic lunch at Kapow Noodle Bar on a Saturday afternoon. The service was speedy, and our food arrived sooner than I anticipated. Each dish was delicious, packed with wonderful flavors. I highly recommend the duck fried rice and the skirt steak tacos. I may have overindulged, but it was definitely worth it!
I really enjoyed everything about Kapow Noodle Bar. This area of Boca has easy casual dining in a very active setting. This particular restaurant was excellent! We were blessed to have a great server and I do think that makes a difference. He was well informed throughout the entire menu since I do have food allergies that can impair my choices. I had shrimp pad thai with one of their non-alcoholic juices. The pad Thai was by far the best I ever had! Everything was very freshand well balanced. My friend's meal and drink was also very delicious by her response. This is one of her favorite places and I was brought as a first-timer. They have a very healthy sized drink menu and meal menu. I do hope that you we'llalso get a fantastic server to help you with any questions and will enjoy your meal at this restaurant. Bon appetit! If you have found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up ???? and feel free to follow me for future reviews.
