Taqueria Del Sabor - Bluffton

Best carne asada tacos I've found in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area. Fast clean and inexpensive, this was my first of stop and will have many more in future,

If I could give 0 stars I would. Meet is dry and hard to swallow. I would NOT recommend

Based on reviews I had higher expectations but meat is very poor quality, bland and over salted. Price points are too high for the low quality. Will keep searching for authentic Mexican fare in the area.

Taqueria del Sabor is a trailer located next to a Sherwood Williams on Bluffton Road. While not the nicest of locations, it is convenient to Bluffton, and easy to get to from most locations off the island. I've been once so far, and will certainly be back again. I don't live in the area, and find myself often wanting for more when I visit my parents, with many restaurants in the area serving food for the retiree population (read: boring). Taqueria del Sabor in comparison is a wonderful change of pace. On offer are tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tortas, each roughly as you'd expect from a working class Mexican restaurant targeted at local workers. The pastor tacos were lovely and came with pickled carrots, onion and jalapeño. In short, they scratched an itch for good, cheap food that you rarely find in the area (though to it's credit, Bluffton has been undergoing a bit of a renaissance in recent years). I felt like a moron for going here: I should have come sooner.

Authentic tacos for super cheap. The service is friendly and they’re super quick with food orders.
