Longhorn Steakhouse - Bluffton

Our experience at Longhorns, let’s see it was not busy at the time we went in. There was my wife and I and we were seated at a six top. OK not a big deal, but it was obviously in the section where the new server was, service was not great at all. It was only two of us with no appetizers and we were there for an hour and a half. I guess we needed that big table because all the dirty dishes and empty glasses were left on the table until we left. I ordered the lamb chops, which had five to the order. The first one was delicious but every one after that had more and more seasoning on it that was so salty it was inedible. My wife had the pork chops which she said were pretty good but pretty salty. The baked potato had so much salt caked to the skin that she could not eat it. When we got our check to sign, there was no thank you for coming in, have a good night or anything that should be said to guests. She set the check down on the table, put the pad on the table and said here’s a pen and walked away and that was it. Upon leaving past the hostess station with three employees standing there, not one said, thank you or have a good night. What started out really well turned into an absolute disaster. I have been in food and beverage for 35 years and I think this is the first time I’ve left less than 20% and that was probably too much. And another thing we never got any bread I guess I could’ve asked for it, but I shouldn’t have had to.

We were a party of 15. The service was amazing and the food ??Definitely will suggest this Longhorn to anyone wanting great service and the best food!!

Shorted me on the steak with the steak salad. Didn’t give me dressing or utensils and gave me sass when I went back and asked for them
