Bidrage med feedbackI had the worst bar experience ever. I ordered a martini, and it was practically undrinkable. When I returned, I opted for a whiskey sour, but it turned out to be a pre-mixed sweet and sour drink that I couldn’t even finish. The bartenders were inappropriately dressed for a casino bar, which added to the overall unprofessional vibe. This all took place on a Friday night. The band was decent, but they played far too loud, making it really difficult to have a conversation with the person next to me.
The hot wings, chicken strips, and fries are fantastic! Service is quick, and the servers are exceptional. Drinks are typically served promptly as well. It's a nice little place with live music most weeks, plus karaoke.
The alcoholic beverages here are extremely overpriced, and the bartenders seem inexperienced with making even basic drinks. The food doesn't taste as great as it should considering the high prices. Additionally, the staff members are rude and unfriendly. The machines are disappointing and rarely pay out. Unfortunately, I've had two jackets stolen right off my chair while I was dancing, and both times, nothing was done about it. Now, if I have to go back, I avoid wearing a jacket and keep my purse close at all times.
I visited Wave Lounge tonight before the Whitney Cummings show and had a disappointing experience with the staff. The bartender, who had purple hair, seemed overwhelmed by my simple order, responding with heavy sighs and eye rolls as if I had asked for something incredibly complicated. This attitude seems to be a common issue at the casino. My husband also noticed an older woman asking a female custodian for help with the change machine, and the custodian reacted in a similar manner, huffing and rolling her eyes before reluctantly assisting the lady. I'm not sure what's going on with the employees at Blue Lake Casino, but these two in particular could benefit from a better attitude—or perhaps from working in a setting where they don't have to interact with the public.
