Bidrage med feedbackDo not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as it is filled with unattractive hippy people you might find in a co-op. The cutlery also appears to be subpar.
Some of my favorite dishes at this restaurant are the blackened tofu sandwich, red curry tofu salad, and the delicious vegan chocolate chip cookies.
I love Bloomingfoods. The one on the west side is my favorite. It may be small, but it is the most visually appealing and the salads and hot food are consistently good. One of the best deals you can find is the soup and bread for only 2 dollars. They offer healthy meals at a lower price than most other places in the city. They may not have everything, but they have most things a vegetarian or vegan might need. The tofu they have is locally made, and they offer various types of tempeh and seitan. Their produce department is impressive, with a wide selection of local and fresh fruits. If you're looking for a larger variety, check out the east side store, especially for supplements. The central location has a discount area where you might find some good deals. At Bloomingfoods, you're not just another random customer. It's easy to find someone to help you or have a friendly chat. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, a nice change from the larger chain grocery stores. Overall, I highly recommend Bloomingfoods, despite it being a bit crowded at times. People always seem to know where the good energy is.
I love bloomingfoods. I hate how small and cramped it is, but it is worth it. they have excellent products with plentiful choices, but it is a bit expensive. but also worth it. they have some local things that are not so easy indiana. there is a decent bed that is smaller than sawara mart, but it seems a faster turnover, so newer options. more bulk: they have cratered and seasoned they can buy in bulk, maple syrup, honey I think vanilla, and then they can also buy shampoo, conditioner, seismic and lotions in bulk. Pretty cool. they have some good sales when they can catch them, but if they are not member: make sure to read the price mark and find out their price. They have some tofu selections, including tofu in bloomington (phoenix farm I must say is great). they see if they can catch their tent sale in October-GREAT prices, especially if they are willing to buy dingen cases. I bought a case vanilla almost milk, and it was more than a dollar cheaper than to buy in the load. also 32 ounce organic olive oil for $10. great. her prepared food area looks pretty good, but I haven't tried yet. I keep meaning. I know my mom bought some fresh cookies there, and she really liked them.
All in all, Bloomingfoods is basically the love of my life. This particular location is a little bit small, and you do bump elbows with your neighbors, but who cares because their friendly neighbors! Even though their primary function is a grocery store, Bloomingfoods is actually my favorite restaurant to eat at. I have never had a disappointing meal there EVER and I eat there quite a bit.
