Carbone's Kitchen - Bloomfield

Carbone's is consistently a very good place for dinner. Food and service are both very good. Nice wine list and an excellent dessert menu. First time back since pre COVID. Tables are spaced well. There are dividers between the booths. There was a nice crowd, but we were not close by anyone. Carbone's has invested in state of the art ventilation. Always a nice evening.

Great food, atmosphere and service. We sat by the bar and the noise level wasn't too loud and we were able to enjoy our conversation. Service was prompt. This was at 5:30 on a Saturday night.

I have 2 reservations for jubiläum. quickly failed and the service was fast. only one problem was that the scallops were ordered obviously burned. that was surprising as they were really dark and crispy. the manager came shortly after and agreed that they were not properly cooked and replaced with new plate that was much better.

I was so impressed I left a review on Yelp as soon as I got home. The server and chef were extremely accommodating to my son with wheat and dairy allergies. He was in the mood for pasta and they made a suggestion that he loved. I had the tuna special with white beans and asparagus. Based on my meal, the chef should get a Michelin Star.
