Bidrage med feedbackThe food was amazing. My school team was in Blind River for the Volleyball Ofsaa championships and they delivered to our hotel room. The service was amazing. If I come back to Blind River, I am definetly going to stop at JR’s pizza. 20/10. Exceeded my expectations!!
Amazing pizza, friendly and PATIENT staff. Definitely a 5 star pizza shop. Customer service deserves the respect especially for how some people in this town can be.
Literally the best place I’ve ever had pizzaI lived in Sault Ste. Marie for 5 years and this is an Italian community who prides itself on pizza and none of them compare to JR’s pizza. You cannot compare them to franchises where the product is mass produced . This is a locally owned and operated business who invests back into the local community . Any one looking to fundraise can contact them and they offer pizza kits.Great small business and amazing pizza
I cannot express how amazing this pizza shop isThey are not only locally owned but they invest so much into the local community, with events almost monthly I have been living in Sudbury for over a year and I still cannot find anything comparable. You may pay a few extra dollars for this pizza but it’s homemade never frozen and always fresh ingredients. You will never be disappointed. If you’re looking for poor quality cheap pizza this isn’t the place to go.
Prices are ridiculous and the owners always deflect from this by repeating that they are locally owned. Understandable. But come on… $30+ for two pounds of chicken wings? I respect the difficulties that come with being a business owner but these prices are simply unjustified and over inflated, especially when my large pepperoni that I ordered had pretty much only 3 pepperonis per slice. I have also noticed the subtle changes that they keep making; less pepperoni, less cheese, sauce seems to have lost flavor (or possibly just less sauce). A change like this seems to happen after they hike up their prices. So now we are expected to pay more for less. Ethically this seems wrong and deceptive, at least in my personal opinion. It’s really unfortunate to see because JR’s was once a really great establishment. Now it seems like it’s being run into the ground by poor management. They are hardly ever open anymore which is extremely unfortunate (especially when they aren’t open during lunch time). I really hope that some changes are made in the future but for now, if you’re a person with time and a vehicle, I’d just go to Elliot lake for toppers or Pizza Hut.
