The Coal Hole - Blackwood

The restaurant offers a convenient ordering and payment system directly at the table. The atmosphere is beautiful and lively. The brisket croquettes were delicious, and the steak cake was also a highlight. However, the "toad in the hole" was just average. The chicken and speck avocado salad had great flavor, but the chicken was a bit dry. The halloumi fries were fantastic. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch!

Dropping from this pub to the off chance, although it is easily removed from the neon sign outside! I was very pleasantly surprised! the atmosphere is that of a native, despite its location on the beach, in the heart of theatreland. apparently it was the original coal cellar for the savoy hotel, so its names. attractive dark wood decoration and flowing floor. the cellar area is quieter, as it can be quite busy on the road level. relatiw expensive, but typical for the opposite in any case worth a visit.

We had a drink outside the theater, and what a lovely pub it is in such a great location! It's definitely worth a visit for anyone who enjoys classic spirits.

I stopped by for drinks after visiting the Edvard Munch exhibition at The Courtauld Gallery. The place has a charming old-world atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly. With both outdoor seating and a downstairs area, it feels surprisingly spacious given the location. I highly recommend it!
